Austrian Community Council's Meeting in Lech am Arlberg

The 56th Austrian community council’s meeting takes place on the 10th and 11th September 2009. 

During the course of this event, council members from all over Austria have the opportunity to participate in interesting discussions about current communal issues and have an occasion to swap ideas with colleagues.

The participants are offered a diverse sightseeing programme which provides the visitors with an interesting impression and insight into what’s offered by the Lech am Arlberg tourist region.  The municipal area of Lech will introduce itself to the visitors at a celebratory festival evening on the 10th September in a marquee erected specifically for the occasion at the Schlosskopfplatz.

On the two days of events, the Austrian president, Dr. Heinz Fischer will as speaker, comment on current issues affecting local councils.
